How It Works
A structured, transparent process from mandate submission to opportunity sourcing.
Key Clarification
The £500 engagement deposit is required at submission. Payment does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance is discretionary. The deposit is not a success fee, advisory fee, or brokerage fee.
The Process
Submit Mandate & Deposit
Complete the structured mandate form and pay the £500 engagement deposit. Payment secures mandate review. Payment does not constitute acceptance.
Discretionary Review
Mandates are reviewed for completeness and alignment with current sourcing capacity. Written confirmation of acceptance or decline is issued. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
Sourcing Period
For accepted mandates, the 30-day sourcing period begins from the date of submission. Opportunities matching stated parameters may be presented. No outcome is guaranteed.
Evaluation
You evaluate any presented opportunities independently. All investment decisions remain solely with the capital provider. We are not a party to any transaction.
Engagement Deposit
Deposit Purpose
The engagement deposit is consideration for mandate review and sourcing effort. It does not relate to deal delivery, transaction completion, or investment outcome.
The deposit is not a success fee, advisory fee, or brokerage fee.
Refund Policy
The 30-day period begins from the date of submission.
| Scenario | Refund |
|---|---|
| Axis Allocation declines the mandate | Full refund |
| Mandate accepted but no aligned opportunity presented within 30 days of submission | Full refund |
| Aligned opportunity presented within 30 days and declined by capital provider | No refund |
| Mandate scope materially changed by capital provider | No refund |
| 30-day period from submission has elapsed | No refund |
What We Are Not
Clarity on scope is essential. Axis Allocation is a mandate intake and sourcing service only.
- Not a broker: We do not execute transactions or hold ourselves out as intermediaries.
- Not an investment adviser: We do not provide investment recommendations or advice.
- Not a marketplace: We do not list opportunities publicly or operate a matching platform.
- Not a fund: We do not pool capital or make investment decisions on behalf of clients.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the review process take?
Typically 3–5 business days from submission with completed payment. Complex or unusual mandates may require additional time.
What happens if my mandate is declined?
Your engagement deposit is refunded in full within 10 business days. Decline reflects our current sourcing capabilities, not mandate quality.
Can I submit multiple mandates?
Yes. Each mandate requires a separate submission and engagement deposit. Mandates are reviewed and accepted independently.
What defines a "suitable opportunity"?
An opportunity that substantively aligns with your stated parameters across asset class, deal size, structure, returns, and risk profile. The determination is made in good faith based on your submitted mandate.
Am I obligated to proceed with presented opportunities?
No. All investment decisions remain solely with you. We present opportunities for your consideration; you are under no obligation to proceed.
